About Course

About the Trainer Prof. Willem Smit researches and teaches entrepreneurial and strategic decision making, particularly in the areas of digitalization and internationalization of brands.

He earned his doctorate (Management) from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Prior to joining Fullbright and the YSEALI Academy, he was at IMD in Lausanne Switzerland, SMU and NUS in Singapore, and MIT Sloan’s Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The course is very good most preferable topic on Digital Marketing, but the video itself not continuous make difficult to us to understand the case study and so on. The presentation from the Professor is very clear & understandable. Also have repetition on the video cutting.

Prof. Willem Smit teaches that good marketing starts with understanding the customer. A strong brand is not just a product, but how people feel about it. We should focus on what customers do, not just who they are. It’s important to give a great experience and tell a clear, honest story. Marketing should always listen, learn, and improve.

Overall, it is nice course, really help to understand marketing better.

However, there are some improvements are needed, especially on the technical part, for example, the repeatation of video, and setting answer for question.

It's really help me to understand on the marketing and branding and helps me to explore more in Digital Marketing strategies and tools.
Yes, this course has been very beneficial for me to learn about marketing models and strategies, along with good examples shared by the presenter, which have enhanced my knowledge.

notes : However, the course had quite a lot of sections, which caused some delays and made the waiting time a bit frustrating.
It opens a floodgate to a whole new set of information for myself as someone without basics on the topic of branding & marketing. Highly appreciate the effort for us to broaden the scope of our knowledge further than our designed roles in the ecosystem.
